Samsung Maintains Position as Fifth Most Valuable Global Brand in 2026, According to Interbrand

Samsung Electronics has sustained its position as the fifth most valuable brand globally, as per Interbrand’s 2026 ‘Best Global Brands’ list, marking the seventh consecutive year it has held this ranking. The brand consultancy assessed Samsung’s worth at USD 105.2 billion, making it the sole Asia-based company continually ranked in the top five since 2020.

Factors Contributing to Brand Valuation

  • Record Earnings: The company’s strategic investments in AI semiconductors have fueled exceptional financial performance.
  • Enhanced AI Competitiveness: Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division has strengthened its position in AI-driven technologies.
  • Customer-Centric Strategy: The ‘One Samsung’ initiative underscores a unified approach to brand management, focusing on consumer engagement.

The Device Solutions (DS) Division capitalized on the growing demand for high-value memory products by expanding its supply, while also leading in technological advancements with the first commercial shipment of HBM4.

In parallel, the DX Division is enhancing daily consumer convenience through integrative AI experiences, offering connectivity across its range of products, such as mobile devices, televisions, and home appliances. Notably, the introduction of the Galaxy Z Fold8 this year marked a significant advancement in the foldable phone market, featuring an innovative form factor and a 4:3 display aspect ratio that attracted interest from younger demographics, while also appealing to a broader audience.
